Engaging Healthcare Workers

In healthcare – where comfort and approachability are paramount – design focused on patients can tend towards the soft and understated. But when communicating to those who work in the field, there’s the opportunity to go beyond this. Here are three recent projects for the British Columbia Patient Safety and Quality Council that help engage and inspire those working in healthcare.

1This compact handbook light-heartedly advises on how to give good presentations –  often needed in order to share crucial information that helps ensure quality in healthcare practices. We used large typography and simple, colourful graphics to make this piece engaging.

2Our branding for the Academic Health Quality Network (an organization connecting  students to those already working in the field) plays with letterforms in the acronym to connect with a younger audience.

3An ongoing project, we continue to develop materials for the 2015 Quality Forum – a yearly conference that gives attendees the opportunity to connect; to learn, share and celebrate advancements in healthcare. The brand we created references a subway map, helping relay that idea of connections.
